So, the blue mosque in central Istanbul wasn’t quite the finish line for continent number 1…this was last night! Enjoy this 3 minute video of me touching the water reaching the end of Europe. Enjoy the bonus footage of some sights and sounds of Istanbul too!
My challenge (snappily called the #7ContinentsWorldCycle) is to cross all 7 continents by bike from one coast right the way to the other…no cars, no trains or buses. I might need the odd boat/plane to get across the watery bits, but I’m trying to keep this to a minimum.
As far as I know, nobody has ever crossed every continent by bike so far. I am aware of one other guy attempting it and he’s several continents ahead of me at the moment, but this certainly isn’t a race. This is a dream trip that I’ve wanted to do for a long time and I aim to enjoy it.
Over the next 5 years I hope to share with you how much fun it is to travel places by bike…especially when you are wearing a superhero costume 🙂
Thanks for all the support so far. All your comments and photos REALLY help.
Thank you for all the donations too. Over £11,000 has been donated so far for Parkinson’s UK, World Cancer Research Fund (WCRF UK), Sustrans, WWF UK and World Bicycle Relief.
If you’d like to make a donation or want to find out anything about the #7ContinentsWorldCycle it’s all on my SuperWebsite at www.supercyclingman.com
Dave the Worm and I are going to have a few days rest now before planning begins for continent number 2…Africa or Asia…decisions, decisions 🙂
Stay super!

Big thanks to KOGA bikes and Shimano for helping me get this far too! 🙂
